DEVOTIONAL: HOLY WEEK REFLECTION

Celebrating Holy week is nothing when our heart and mind are still focusing towards the unpleasant things before our Holy God. To keep his word, his teachings and his commandments are the most important reflection of Holy week alone. Let's check our heart and mind, and ask this very simple question,

AM I DOING THINGS THAT MAKES YOU SMILE LORD?

Isaiah 53:5 But He was pierced for our transgressions, He was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was upon Him, and by His stripes we are healed.

God's mercy and grace for us is so abundant and immeasurable but mostly abused. This time is not a time for rituals, traditions and etc. but a time to wake up, to listen and to obey the truth. Seeking God first to find the real meaning and purpose of life with understanding. Through Him  we have now freedom and have a great chance to make our path straight. Let's not waste our time doing nonsense things and keep on ignoring his words but to keep word in our heart with obedience instead.
This is how we can show how much we love him and how much we care and acknowledge the things the Lord our savior has done for us. We must remember all his sacrifices not just the whole week but day by day and also to remember the calling for everyone to live holy for He is Holy God. Indeed, holiness is a result of obedience by faith with the Lord our Loving and Mighty God alone.

The kingdom of God is near. Let's be united in prayer not just for ourselves but also for the salvation of our brothers and sisters.

WE ARE FAMILY IN THE NAME OF CHRIST JESUS, THE SAVIOR OF THE WORLD.

May God bless us with the knowledge and wisdom that will enlighten our heart and mind completely. Peace be with us!

Let's Pray:

Heavenly Father, I come before You asking for the grace to live a holy life. Please purify my heart, my mind, and my soul, and help me to align my will with Yours.
Strengthen me to resist temptation and to walk in righteousness, reflecting Your love to everyone I meet. When I am weak, fill me with Your Holy Spirit to lead me in the path of holiness.

Help me to turn away from sin and to live in a way that is pleasing to You, setting aside my own desires to serve You faithfully. May my life bring honor to Your name. Thank you for saving my life.
I surrender myself to You, trusting in Your mercy. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.

DEVOTIONAL: SALVATION MEANING AND ITS IMPORTANCE

Salvation (also called deliverance or redemption) is the saving of human beings from sin and its consequences—which include death and separation from God—by Christ's death and resurrection, and everyone who accept this truth will be restored through faith and have eternal life. Note, that the word death here is not about a physical death but a spiritual death. So, this spiritual death and separation from God start from the time when humans disobeyed God which is written in the book of Genesis 3 ( please read the full chapter ) . Romans 3:23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, Isaiah 59:2 But your iniquities have separated you from your God; your sins have hidden his face from you, so that he will not hear. And because God so love the world He made a way in which He sent his one and only son Jesus Christ to deliver and redeem us from being perished because of our transgressions and sin. John 3:16 , which says, "For God so loved the world that he g...

DEVOTIONAL: PAGTAMO NG KARUNUNGANG MAKA-DIYOS

Many are the plans in a person’s heart,  but it is the Lord’s purpose that prevails.

DEVOTIONAL: IMPORTANCE OF REPENTANCE

Repentance is important because it allows for forgiveness, spiritual growth, and a renewed relationship with our Heavenly Father. It is an act of turning away from sin and walk toward a path of a healthy spiritual life  which leads to freedom from guilt, healing, and a fresh start. It is often seen as a prerequisite for spiritual progress and salvation. It is also an  act of feeling remorse for all the past wrongdoing. Knowing also that in every mistake that we are going to commit in this present and in the future has a consequences(including the past). So it is called to repent and not to repeat. We have to choose wisely our path by changing our mindsets and behaviour by walking towards a better way of living   fixing our eyes to Jesus.   This involves acknowledging one's actions base not by human judgement but by what Christ Jesus teaching, and committing to a change in attitude and actions in the name of Christ Jesus. A key verse on repentance is 1 John 1...
