DEVOTIONAL: ALWAYS SUBMIT TO GOD BY FAITH AND NOT ON YOUR OWN MINDSET

Are you a kind of a person who is an overthinker?

Overthinking is a negative mind habit toward uncertain things/situation that can really have negative effect towards our faith. As Christ believers we are being encourage by the truth to always live by faith not by sight. This is the power of our faith, even if it is small as a mustard seed, biblically, it is still more powerful to make things possible including the impossible. Why not change this habit into a good habit by exercising our faith? Let's make a habit of prayer, having quality time with God together not just because we wanted to get something, but because prayer is our life.

We are worried of so many things that can be seen but are only temporary. Overthinking about every challenging situation we face.

Mostly for the future, but the truth is who holds our future?

If our faith believes that, our Heavenly Father has prepared our good future and nothing can ever take it nor destroy it in Jesus name, then, let’s start the journey which God has instructed us on how to get through it and let's do our part. His instruction is to seek his kingdom first and his righteousness which means we must  live according to his will and be part of his good plans for our future.  This journey is not an easy one but it takes a humble and obedient heart to be part of it for this is a mission which Christ Jesus started and for us to continue until He comes back. But God assured us with a promise that He will provide whatever we needed in this journey.

And whenever we encounter trials and circumstances along the way that could hardly press us and affects our hearts and minds, just be sure that we have equipped with his words and keep the faith.

Jeremiah 32:27, “I am the LORD, the God of all mankind. Is anything too hard for me?

Matthew 17:20-21, Jesus replied “Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there,' and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.”

Do not underestimate your small faith, God can make it grow bigger and be more productive even in difficult times if we do better by keep seeking and keep abiding in his word in the name of his Son Christ Jesus.

 Matthew 13:31-32New International Version

31 He told them another parable: “The kingdom of heaven is like a mustard seed, which a man took and planted in his field. 32 Though it is the smallest of all seeds, yet when it grows, it is the largest of garden plants and becomes a tree, so that the birds come and perch in its branches.”

  • Let’s make a habit of prayer; seek and speak to God wholeheartedly, boldly and deeper.
  • Know that prayer is not only an ordinary situation but a divine conversation.
  • Prayer is not a problem solution but it is a lifestyle of a faithful person.
  • Admit and submit by allowing God to grow your small faith.
  • Instead of  overthinking, keep on praying for apart from it we are nothing.
  • In the name of Jesus prayer is so powerful!

Let’s Pray:

"Dear Lord, I come to You today to ask for help. My mind races and obsesses, and I feel like I'm sinking. I give You my worry. Take it, Lord. Help me to turn to You by faith and not to lean on myself, to stop doubting and start trusting. I declare with all my heart, with all my heart, with all my soul and with all my strength that You are my Lord and my Savior alone, my Mighty God who take the full control of my whole life. Lead me, and guide me Lord throughout my life journey. Calm my mind Lord, and replace my 'what ifs' with Your peace. Amen".

DEVOTIONAL: SALVATION MEANING AND ITS IMPORTANCE

Salvation (also called deliverance or redemption) is the saving of human beings from sin and its consequences—which include death and separation from God—by Christ's death and resurrection, and everyone who accept this truth will be restored through faith and have eternal life. Note, that the word death here is not about a physical death but a spiritual death. So, this spiritual death and separation from God start from the time when humans disobeyed God which is written in the book of Genesis 3 ( please read the full chapter ) . Romans 3:23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, Isaiah 59:2 But your iniquities have separated you from your God; your sins have hidden his face from you, so that he will not hear. And because God so love the world He made a way in which He sent his one and only son Jesus Christ to deliver and redeem us from being perished because of our transgressions and sin. John 3:16 , which says, "For God so loved the world that he g...

DEVOTIONAL: PAGTAMO NG KARUNUNGANG MAKA-DIYOS

Many are the plans in a person’s heart,  but it is the Lord’s purpose that prevails.

DEVOTIONAL: IMPORTANCE OF REPENTANCE

Repentance is important because it allows for forgiveness, spiritual growth, and a renewed relationship with our Heavenly Father. It is an act of turning away from sin and walk toward a path of a healthy spiritual life  which leads to freedom from guilt, healing, and a fresh start. It is often seen as a prerequisite for spiritual progress and salvation. It is also an  act of feeling remorse for all the past wrongdoing. Knowing also that in every mistake that we are going to commit in this present and in the future has a consequences(including the past). So it is called to repent and not to repeat. We have to choose wisely our path by changing our mindsets and behaviour by walking towards a better way of living   fixing our eyes to Jesus.   This involves acknowledging one's actions base not by human judgement but by what Christ Jesus teaching, and committing to a change in attitude and actions in the name of Christ Jesus. A key verse on repentance is 1 John 1...
