DEVOTIONAL: GOD'S WORD IS A FUEL OF ALL OUR PRAYERS

Are you a kind of person who is prayerful but not reading God's word? Well, know that God's word is the fuel of all our prayers.

Psalm 119:105KJV

Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.

To utter a word of prayer is not just talking to an ordinary human being but having a heart to heart conversation to a Holy and a Mighty God.

Without the knowledge and wisdom from Him,it will be like as if we are God, and He is the human. Can you imagine? We might commanding God to do the things we wanted to happen in which very far  from his will and this is an example of a very wrong approach unto Him.

Our prayer consists of the following:

  • Adoration/Praise: Honoring God.
  • Confession: Acknowledging sins and seeking forgiveness.
  • Thanksgiving: Expressing gratitude.
  • Intercession: Praying on behalf of others.
  • Petition/Supplication: Asking for personal needs in accordance of God's will in Jesus name.

Therefore, it is very important to know more about God and know his will to avoid unpleasant things to happen before him in our prayer time. God is perfect, so his will is perfect too, we as humans really need to submit to God whatever our plans and decisions in life so that everything will be aligned in in his will for his glory. And only His word which can be found in the Holy Bible alone can teach us how to utter a righteous prayer in Christ Jesus name . It will be our guide also in doing all the godly ways of life through the power of the Holy Spirit who live among us. This will help us to build up a strong relationship with him that produces faith. Because without faith our prayer is nothing. Our God only pleases to the one who earnestly seeks and  believes His  Word, obediently and wholeheartedly by faith in the name of our Lord and savior Jesus Christ.

God's word + applied into action + Faith in Christ = Holiness which is the fulfillment of God's calling for all the believers.

As it is written in

✅1 Peter 1:15-17

New International Version

15 But just as he who called you is holy, so be holy in all you do; 16 for it is written: “Be holy, because I am holy.”

17 Since you call on a Father who judges each person’s work impartially, live out your time as foreigners here in reverent fear.

To know more about the importance of God's word in our lives? Read the following verses

✅Joshua 1:8New International Version

8 Keep this Book of the Law always on your lips; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful.

✅2 Timothy 3:16-17New International Version

16 All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, 17 so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.

Let's Pray:

"Lord, I come before You today, asking for a heart that is completely Yours. Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within me. I confess that my heart can be distracted and selfish, so I ask for the desire to seek You continually. Let all your words that I have been heard and read may grow and bear fruits within me so that I may be able to do your will and glorify to your name. Teach me to pray and give me full courage to rely on Your strength and not on my own, for I am nothing without you Lord.Transform my heart into a dwelling place for Your presence, where I find peace, joy, and a constant longing to speak with You. Help me to love what You love and to desire intimacy with You above all else. In Jesus’ name, Amen."

God bless us allπŸ™πŸ™πŸ™

DEVOTIONAL: SALVATION MEANING AND ITS IMPORTANCE

Salvation (also called deliverance or redemption) is the saving of human beings from sin and its consequences—which include death and separation from God—by Christ's death and resurrection, and everyone who accept this truth will be restored through faith and have eternal life. Note, that the word death here is not about a physical death but a spiritual death. So, this spiritual death and separation from God start from the time when humans disobeyed God which is written in the book of Genesis 3 ( please read the full chapter ) . Romans 3:23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, Isaiah 59:2 But your iniquities have separated you from your God; your sins have hidden his face from you, so that he will not hear. And because God so love the world He made a way in which He sent his one and only son Jesus Christ to deliver and redeem us from being perished because of our transgressions and sin. John 3:16 , which says, "For God so loved the world that he g...

DEVOTIONAL: PAGTAMO NG KARUNUNGANG MAKA-DIYOS

Many are the plans in a person’s heart,  but it is the Lord’s purpose that prevails.

DEVOTIONAL: IMPORTANCE OF REPENTANCE

Repentance is important because it allows for forgiveness, spiritual growth, and a renewed relationship with our Heavenly Father. It is an act of turning away from sin and walk toward a path of a healthy spiritual life  which leads to freedom from guilt, healing, and a fresh start. It is often seen as a prerequisite for spiritual progress and salvation. It is also an  act of feeling remorse for all the past wrongdoing. Knowing also that in every mistake that we are going to commit in this present and in the future has a consequences(including the past). So it is called to repent and not to repeat. We have to choose wisely our path by changing our mindsets and behaviour by walking towards a better way of living   fixing our eyes to Jesus.   This involves acknowledging one's actions base not by human judgement but by what Christ Jesus teaching, and committing to a change in attitude and actions in the name of Christ Jesus. A key verse on repentance is 1 John 1...
