DEVOTIONAL: Focus on the Goal not in Obstacles

"Blessed is the one who perseveres under trial because, having stood the test, that person will receive the crown of life that the Lord has promised to those who love him". James 1:12 (NIV)

What does trial mean in this passage is the testing of your faith to God. It is not by accident that we are going to experience it but God is allowing it to happen to an individual who are his believer for a great purpose, to test our integrity as his children.

Key aspects of biblical trials include:

·         Purpose: Trials are meant to produce endurance, strengthen faith, and reveal the authenticity of one's devotion.

·         Perspective: Believers are urged to consider trials as "pure joy" because they develop perseverance and maturity (James 1:2–4).

·         Divine Sovereignty: Trials are viewed as "appointments" rather than accidents, passing through God's hands for ultimate good.

·         Types: They include physical, emotional, and spiritual suffering, or persecution for one's faith. In this different situations, we must be aware that we are all prone to temptations if we are not equipped by the knowledge of truth.

While trials test faith (external), they differ from temptation (internal), which lures someone toward sin. Whenever we are encountering trials there also the enemy offering an easy way to get through it but leading you to disobey the Lord. That is why, we need to have a very strong foundation of our faith, Jesus Christ, and have an intimate relationship with him.

As we go through different trials we might experience spiritual "drift" and dryness including physical and emotional .And only a consistent daily personal communication with God can really help us to strengthen our spiritual life at that time, through prayer and devotional bible reading. As the result of it, with obedience to God we are also become more matured and strong enough to overcome any trials and able to stand against any temptations that comes in our way. And it leads us to have a victorious life before our Loving God and that is the reality of a pure joy for a believer's of Christ Jesus.

Having stood the test through faith and obedience we will receive the crown of life that the Lord has promised to those who love him". God is so faithful so be a faithful.

Focus on the goal, not in any obstacles, and it is to give glory to our loving Father in heaven even in the midst of trials.

DEVOTIONAL: SALVATION MEANING AND ITS IMPORTANCE

Salvation (also called deliverance or redemption) is the saving of human beings from sin and its consequences—which include death and separation from God—by Christ's death and resurrection, and everyone who accept this truth will be restored through faith and have eternal life. Note, that the word death here is not about a physical death but a spiritual death. So, this spiritual death and separation from God start from the time when humans disobeyed God which is written in the book of Genesis 3 ( please read the full chapter ) . Romans 3:23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, Isaiah 59:2 But your iniquities have separated you from your God; your sins have hidden his face from you, so that he will not hear. And because God so love the world He made a way in which He sent his one and only son Jesus Christ to deliver and redeem us from being perished because of our transgressions and sin. John 3:16 , which says, "For God so loved the world that he g...

DEVOTIONAL: PAGTAMO NG KARUNUNGANG MAKA-DIYOS

Many are the plans in a person’s heart,  but it is the Lord’s purpose that prevails.

DEVOTIONAL: IMPORTANCE OF REPENTANCE

Repentance is important because it allows for forgiveness, spiritual growth, and a renewed relationship with our Heavenly Father. It is an act of turning away from sin and walk toward a path of a healthy spiritual life  which leads to freedom from guilt, healing, and a fresh start. It is often seen as a prerequisite for spiritual progress and salvation. It is also an  act of feeling remorse for all the past wrongdoing. Knowing also that in every mistake that we are going to commit in this present and in the future has a consequences(including the past). So it is called to repent and not to repeat. We have to choose wisely our path by changing our mindsets and behaviour by walking towards a better way of living   fixing our eyes to Jesus.   This involves acknowledging one's actions base not by human judgement but by what Christ Jesus teaching, and committing to a change in attitude and actions in the name of Christ Jesus. A key verse on repentance is 1 John 1...
