DEVOTIONAL: EXPECTATIONS Vs. REALITY

Do not expect something from others, rather expect something from our own-self.

Always remember that whatever wrong actions we have taken from the past, it has always consequences in life. And we will carry it on in our whole life. As it’s written, the word of God says, for whatever one sows, that will he also reap. It means we have to be very careful in every decision we have to take to avoid any consequences. In application from God’s commandment , we need to love the Lord our God and also our brothers and sisters which is called our neighbors. But if we do the opposite way then take note God will repay all the things we have done whether it is good or evil.

On the other hand,if we helped others and expecting something in return then what could be our expectations will be? God cannot be mocked so do not be deceived by thinking that it’s okay when there’s no one else watching you, so no one will know if you will do it, or it’s okay I am rich, I don’t care for I have authority and power so whatever I want to do I will do.

The truth is, we cannot expect good things to happen when the things what we are doing are bad things. Or else, we will expect the unexpected with full of regrets.

God is an all-knowing God even the numbers of our hairs are counted in him, he is present everywhere, and he is all-powerful, so all we have to do is to start our everyday life expectations by reflecting our hearts and minds with the word of God in everything we do.Let each of our expectations comes to reality by allowing Christ Jesus to take over our past, present and future by faith. A life that are fully surrendered to God and never relying into something which are ungodly things. For God will reward those who live faithfully in him (Hebrews 11:6)

Galatians 6:7 Do not be deceived:God cannot be mocked.A man reaps what he sows.

DEVOTIONAL: SALVATION MEANING AND ITS IMPORTANCE

Salvation (also called deliverance or redemption) is the saving of human beings from sin and its consequences—which include death and separation from God—by Christ's death and resurrection, and everyone who accept this truth will be restored through faith and have eternal life. Note, that the word death here is not about a physical death but a spiritual death. So, this spiritual death and separation from God start from the time when humans disobeyed God which is written in the book of Genesis 3 ( please read the full chapter ) . Romans 3:23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, Isaiah 59:2 But your iniquities have separated you from your God; your sins have hidden his face from you, so that he will not hear. And because God so love the world He made a way in which He sent his one and only son Jesus Christ to deliver and redeem us from being perished because of our transgressions and sin. John 3:16 , which says, "For God so loved the world that he g...

DEVOTIONAL: PAGTAMO NG KARUNUNGANG MAKA-DIYOS

Many are the plans in a person’s heart,  but it is the Lord’s purpose that prevails.

DEVOTIONAL: IMPORTANCE OF REPENTANCE

Repentance is important because it allows for forgiveness, spiritual growth, and a renewed relationship with our Heavenly Father. It is an act of turning away from sin and walk toward a path of a healthy spiritual life  which leads to freedom from guilt, healing, and a fresh start. It is often seen as a prerequisite for spiritual progress and salvation. It is also an  act of feeling remorse for all the past wrongdoing. Knowing also that in every mistake that we are going to commit in this present and in the future has a consequences(including the past). So it is called to repent and not to repeat. We have to choose wisely our path by changing our mindsets and behaviour by walking towards a better way of living   fixing our eyes to Jesus.   This involves acknowledging one's actions base not by human judgement but by what Christ Jesus teaching, and committing to a change in attitude and actions in the name of Christ Jesus. A key verse on repentance is 1 John 1...
