DEVOTIONAL: To Live In God Is To Live In The Name Of LOVE.

''If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast, but do not have LOVE, I gain nothing.'' 1 Corinthians 13:3

We may have done all the standards of good deeds in the world but still those are not the basis to become pleasing from the very eyes of the Lord. Do you know why?It is because the world and the word of God are in contrary with each other. That is why, the center of the Lord's commandment is to do everything in the name of LOVE. The world cannot love him but God so loved the world, John 3:16.

Why LOVE? because without love in our hearts we cannot give glory to the Lord and it gains nothing for us. Love means the God’s name himself, God Is Love.

In this passage Apostle Paul is calling all our attention to be careful by doing such things which can blinded us to see the heart of God. We must put it in our hearts and minds that in everything we do, we must do it for his name sake and glory alone. In this way, we can show to him the real stands of our hearts in everything. And this is Love, 1 Corinthians 13:4-7

4 Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5 It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 6 Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7 It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.

“There is no commandment greater than LOVE.”

L- Love for God and Love for all (Mark 12:30-31), (1 John 4:20)

O- Obedience (John 14:15)

V- Values (1 Corinthians 13:4-7)

E-Encouraging one another to spread the gospel (Matthew 28:19-20)

-( 2 Timothy 4:8) in the future there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day; and not only to me, but also to all who have loved His appearing.

Memory Verse: 1 John 4:7-8

7 Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God, and whoever loves has been born of God and knows God. 8 Anyone who does not love does not know God, because God is love.

DEVOTIONAL: SALVATION MEANING AND ITS IMPORTANCE

Salvation (also called deliverance or redemption) is the saving of human beings from sin and its consequences—which include death and separation from God—by Christ's death and resurrection, and everyone who accept this truth will be restored through faith and have eternal life. Note, that the word death here is not about a physical death but a spiritual death. So, this spiritual death and separation from God start from the time when humans disobeyed God which is written in the book of Genesis 3 ( please read the full chapter ) . Romans 3:23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, Isaiah 59:2 But your iniquities have separated you from your God; your sins have hidden his face from you, so that he will not hear. And because God so love the world He made a way in which He sent his one and only son Jesus Christ to deliver and redeem us from being perished because of our transgressions and sin. John 3:16 , which says, "For God so loved the world that he g...

DEVOTIONAL: PAGTAMO NG KARUNUNGANG MAKA-DIYOS

Many are the plans in a person’s heart,  but it is the Lord’s purpose that prevails.

DEVOTIONAL: IMPORTANCE OF REPENTANCE

Repentance is important because it allows for forgiveness, spiritual growth, and a renewed relationship with our Heavenly Father. It is an act of turning away from sin and walk toward a path of a healthy spiritual life  which leads to freedom from guilt, healing, and a fresh start. It is often seen as a prerequisite for spiritual progress and salvation. It is also an  act of feeling remorse for all the past wrongdoing. Knowing also that in every mistake that we are going to commit in this present and in the future has a consequences(including the past). So it is called to repent and not to repeat. We have to choose wisely our path by changing our mindsets and behaviour by walking towards a better way of living   fixing our eyes to Jesus.   This involves acknowledging one's actions base not by human judgement but by what Christ Jesus teaching, and committing to a change in attitude and actions in the name of Christ Jesus. A key verse on repentance is 1 John 1...
